RHStore.com

All Businesses strive to find the correct level of advertising to hopefully increase sales of their products.
At RHStore.com we tried various means of advertising, from working with Google to our local Radio station, which we found to be very expensive and with very little success.
We then advertised through ‘’Web Windows’’ who concentrate their marketing in National Newspapers, and found our niche in the market was increased by approx 20% with immediate effect.
We would encourage all businesses to give them a try.

Felicity Fair-Thomson

Just a note to thank you for the help you all gave me for the ad in the Sunday Times. With me being so busy - and away from home/office - it was wonderful to be able to trust someone to listen to what I wanted, describe it succinctly when I couldn't actually get into visual internet contact, and come up with an ad that had some effect.
I did get extra hits on my site, and enquiries about related information, and interest in what I do too, which has sparked off some different avenues that wouldn't have occured to me. For instance a couple of US companies got in touch re linking with my site, and other people, magazines and competition organisers, asked me to display their competitions. Now this might not seem helpful, given they want the exposure for free - but if I have information on my site which helps writers it adds to my reputation and good name, and makes people visit me more often to see what's new.

Thanks for your help - I'm a one woman band on a small budget and have to be careful how much I advertise and where, but I certainly will come back to you again,

Porter Foods Co Ltd

'We booked a campaign to run in four of the Sunday supplement magazines to run throughout December in order to boost activity on our website. We were pleased that Web Windows delivered the results that we'd expected; sales and enquiries did increase throughout the period that the ads were in print and we can only attribute that to Web Windows. We are now looking at how best to use this proven medium for future ads.'

ABL Productions Ltd

'The Sunday Telegraph Magazine generated an excellent response in terms of units sold and awareness raised. The purpose of our advertising was to launch a brand new ball game that was previously largely unknown by the public so the ad had to work extra hard in order to sell the product but also make people see what Catchback is, and how much fun it can be! All those things might have been hard to translate into the space available but the brilliant art work stood out on the page and got the point over well. We're definitely looking at when and where to next appear with Web Windows and anticipate further successful advertising.'

Rebtex UK Ltd

'We chose to run an ad in The Guardian Magazine after careful consideration of the type of readership and editorial stance that it represented. The ethically aware outlook coupled with a majority of middle aged readers suited us perfectly since we are importing environmentally friendly sisal floor coverings and rugs. Our initial scrutiny was well rewarded as we saw hits rise substantially on the Saturday, continuing on a higher level than normal until the following Thursday, to yield a total of about 2500 extra hits to the site, as well as people phoning in. We are on a tight budget and can't afford to repeat this ad every week, but will run it on a regular basis as and when we can now that we're confident in it's worth'.

My Living Space

We were really pleased to get a great deal on price in The Guardian Magazine which then resulted in a great deal of hits coming through to our website. On the Saturday that the ad was published we got at least 150 extra unique visits and are now working hard to update and improve the range of products on our website before looking at what Web Windows can offer us again.

House Recycling

House Recycling have been advertising with web windows now for several months. We are a new business and have launched a new range of products, such as our unique range of wheelie bin screens, which we needed to advertise to a mass market.
Through the papers that web windows offer we have had a fantastic response to our products and a large increase in sales.
We find the staff very forthcoming with advise and there customer service excellent.
I predict a long working relationship and indeed we are now stepping up our advertising with Web Windows to weekly insertions.
Thank you for all your hard work.

A Pear & A Peach

'I decided to use Web Windows in the run up to Christmas when I knew purchasing would be high and recognised the benefits of an extra push in November and December. Of course the draw back to this is that everyone else has the same idea, so the art work that Web Windows created for me went a long way to making my ad stand out from the crowd. I was really pleased with the end result that saw extra traffic to my website and purchases being made. I think Web Windows is a really good way of advertising at targeted times of the year when I want a boost, and now I'm confident that I've found a way of using print advertising to my advantage'

iCandy Jewellery

'Being a new business I didn't want to jump straight in and advertise in the largest publications that Web Windows offer, so I decided to run initially in The Independent on Sunday Magazine where I could control my spend and monitor closely the response that came through. After experiencing excellent results there I've now increased my investment with Web Windows and book in The Independent on Sunday Magazine as well as The Sunday Times Magazine. I intend to keep increasing my exposure at targeted points through this medium that I am happy to invest in, knowing the response will be great.'

Rubicon Design

'Rubicon Design have been advertising consistently with Web Windows for the last 6 months and we make a point of monitoring response very carefully with each insertion . We have experimented with a variety of supplements and have really appreciated the advice and guidance our Web Windows media exec has given.
Response varies from publication to publication; we have ads which only just break even to those which yield an extremely high return on investment. Web Windows now plays a permanent role in our marketing mix.
An unexpected additional benefit has been that our advertising was spotted by a buyer for a major catalogue company. This in itself has resulted in more business being generated.'

AsdruMark

'AsdruMark have been working together with Webwindows for several months now and we foresee it being a long and lasting relationship.

Pitney Bowes

'Pitney Bowes continue to advertise with Web Windows because we consistently receive a good return on investment. We advertise across all the publications Web Windows has an involvement with and find that this is a great branding exercise as it allows us an easy way of reaching a very wide audience. We find the help and advice that Web Windows provide to be very informative and useful. I look forward to a continued long term relationship with them.'

Warren Evans

'Warren Evans supply handmade beds and furniture of exceptional value and quality. We started to advertise with Web Windows in early December 2006 and found it a cost effective way of advertising our services and increasing traffic to the website.
The url on the bottom of our adverts allows us to monitor exactly where the extra traffic to our site is coming from and we found that the conversion of the extra traffic into sales more than pays for the cost of advertising and that’s why we have become regular advertisers.
We particularly like the layout of the page as adverts of any size don’t get lost on the page. Warren Evans also took advantage of the free artwork service and found the creative team to be both competent and happy to work to our suggestions. We look forward to a continued relationship with Web Windows in the future.'

Cherry Active

'Ultimately, the only reason I book and rebook is because of the response and this is why I have continued to place adverts with Web Windows.
After a trial series in The Sunday Times that proved the success of the Web Directory we have continued to advertise for over six months now. This regular presence has proved very effective and has been the best way to attract new customers. CherryActive is a successful natural product that has thousands of satisfied customers as a remedy for a wide range of conditions including Gout, Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.
Having tried a number of advertising avenues to get the word out to potential customers, I have been extremely impressed by the overall service from Web Windows. They have been extremely professional and easy to deal with. They have offered advice and taken care putting the artwork together using their many years of experience to create an uncluttered advert to generate the best possible response. Even the invoicing and payment terms have made it easier for me to advertise.'

D J Kit

'After deciding to give the Web Windows format a trial we went for an initial series run in The Sunday Times Magazine. This proved to be very successful and we were able to extend the series with confidence over a number of months and a range of different publications. During the campaign we were able to sell over 2,000 units and exhausted all of our stock.'

Snorban

'SnorBan has a proven product that stops snoring. Although it is not of massively high value individually we knew that the product was popular. Taking a double ad in the Sunday Times helped us to get our message across properly and allowed us good exposure on the page. Webwindows were very helpful in putting the artwork together and we were very pleased with what they produced for us. Advertising over the Christmas period we have seen a healthy return on our investment and are now looking to keep our presence in The Sunday Times and develop a strong customer base.'

Hairbeam

'As with any new or revolutionary product is it essential that it is brought to the attention of those who will benefit from it.

Discontinued Colours

'As a small family business that supply discontinued bathroomware, we thought we would try a small advert via WebWindows in the Sunday Times magazine. The response was phenomenal with over 100 enquiries received by email and telephone in the first few days, and we will definitely be using WebWindows again. Our only concern is whether we can cope with the additional business that any future advertisements will generate!'

Interknickers

'We have found advertising in The Mail on Sunday You magazine to be our preferred publication. We have repeatedly run our advert on this page and are in the opinion that keeping a regular appearance has helped build brand awareness and ultimately more business. We have had scores of people telling us that they noticed our adverts on the page and plenty of feedback about how eye catching it looks. We will definitely be keeping a recurring presence on this page.'

Kingfisher Music

'Kingfisher Music has advertised with Web Windows on several occasions and has found the Sunday Times Web Directory to be a great way to attract interest from further a field, not just the local area. On each ad we have noticed an increase in sales, and we will continue to promote our website through this successful medium. We were provided with an eye-catching piece of artwork that really does justice to our business and gave us the best chance for a good response.'

QVS Direct

'QVS Direct has been regularly advertising with Web Windows for several months now, a great way of generating a tangible response. We have advertised across all publications, with the Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph being our particular favourites. These ads are a great way to affordably attract scores of new people to our site by making sure our brand name is being promoted to the millions of Sunday readers.'

Shape8.com

'Shape8.Com tried a test panel in the Web Directory in the Sunday Times and were delighted with the 1000’s of extra visitors this generated for our web site. 'Pet Department decided to try an advert in the Sunday Times after having had success with our ad in Observer Magazine. The response gained from our advertisement in the Sunday Times Web Directory was immediate and so pleasing that we have just booked a longer series. Decant Air

'Initially, we ran a series of three consecutive single panel advertisements in the Sunday Times Magazine. We were very pleased with the increase in business and traffic to our site that we decided to make a real showpiece of our next advertisement in the lead up to Christmas.
Our latest advertisement is four times the standard panel size. It looks fantastic, really stands out well and dominates the page.
We have been impressed by the speed, efficiency and professionalism of Web Windows and look forward to continuing our relationship with them in the future.'

'We began advertising with Web Windows at the end of last year, running a campaign of six adverts in The Observer Magazine. Since then we have advertised in all their publications, one of our favourites being The Sunday Times magazine. We have been pleased with the results generated from the adverts placed and as a result have continued to advertise on their web directory pages on an ongoing basis every couple of weeks.'

Tandem Experience

'Tandeming chose to run a single insertion in the Sunday Times as a trail run to see what kind of interest would be generated. Whilst we were aware that a series is generally the best way to build a really good response, budget restrictions dictated! We were extremely impressed with the 80% rise in traffic to our site, which could only have been attributed to this advert. Not only did traffic rise on the Sunday when the ad was actually published but continued through the week too. We will certainly be using Web Windows again in future as we are confident that when needing to highlight specific offers, or generate interest at quite times of the year, that it really does pay.'

www.tandeming.co.uk

Living Beer

'Living Beer has an established and successful relationship with Web Windows forged through over a year's worth of advertising. We use Web Windows as part of an established advertising schedule for 2 reasons, one is to gain exposure at times of year when our product is especially relevant and second Web Windows allows smaller companies to enjoy advertising in mass media which would be prohibitively expensive to do alone. We know that raising awareness at these times of year really bolsters our profile as well as sales; for example we appeared last Christmas and in the run up to Fathers Day, with fantastic success. Living Beer has also taken the opportunity to use Web Windows as a reliable pick me up at slower times of the year and will remain firm clients for the coming years.'

www.livingbeer.com

Ticket Tree

'We decided to trial an insertion in The Independent on Sunday after forming an understanding of the readership and concluding that they fitted our target customer. From the first day which our advert appeared we had instant feedback, approximately 30% of our response came through on the Sunday which the advert appeared. We know in theory that the magazine is kept into the week but were sceptical as to whether or not people would still see the advert. We were impressed when custom kept coming right through until the following Thursday. Overall we were really pleased with a one day advert, which bought in 5 days of trading, and was at an excellent price when we booked it! We are now keeping Web Windows at close quarters to ensure that we can rebook when we feel it appropriate throughout the rest of the year.'

www.tickettree.com

Spritz

'We decided to go ahead and book a series of three ads in The Telegraph after a deal was offered that we thought too good to refuse. We had an excellent looking ad, which appeared on a great looking page, where there were only 14 other ads. The format looked good and the response that came through as a result was brilliant. Spritz.co.uk is quite a niche business; selling fancy dress costumes and equipment over the internet; finding a good platform is difficult, we're glad we've found it with Web Windows. We are now looking into booking again later in the year when we feel that Web Windows will spur people on to our site.'

Brompton Home Health Ltd.

'We wanted to test the response that could be gained by advertising to 2.9 million affluent readers on a three weekly trial. Home Heart were very impressed by the fantastic artwork produced for them by the in-house art department.
The series of advertisements generated increased traffic to their website which brought along an increase in sales of Home Defibrillators . The overall high response to the advertisements has meant continued and successful advertising for Home Heart on a frequent basis.
"The increased number of hits and traffic to our website together with the overall response rate from customers has made us want to continue advertising with Web Windows and build on an already successful relationship.'

RSVP Introductions

'RSVP has always been a fan of press advertising, maximising our local presence throughout our core area of the country. We were looking at ways of expanding the business when we were approached by Web Windows, who created a marketing strategy, including multiple insertions in The Sunday Times Magazine and The Sunday Telegraph Magazine. We were offered a brilliant deal and were impressed with the excellent response which started to come back as soon as the adverts were published. Enquiries came from all over the country and we are now looking to expand our service, to gain further access to this broader market which Web Windows has opened up for us. This is most definitely a successful and lucrative way of appearing before millions of people which RSVP will be continuing.'

Diana Porter

'We ran a trial insertion in The Observer Magazine which we rapidly followed up with a second when we saw the response that started to come through straight away. We are really impressed with this flexible way of advertising and like the fact that Web Windows can be booked around current advertising and bring in immediate custom. The mix of advertisers on the page with us meant that we weren't fighting over prospective customers with any direct competitors and we hope to keep this a guarded secret to stop them from catching on! We are planning our next steps with Web Windows, happy in the knowledge that we can predict what will come from it.'

Instant Holidays

' www.ski-ski-ski.co.uk ran Web Window ads in The Sunday Telegraph and The Observer and enjoyed extremely buoyant sales. This method of promoting our web site was extremely cost effective, allowing us to reach large numbers of affluent consumers who may not use search engines. We received interest from parties who had learnt of our services from our site, therefore minimising the number of fruitless enquiries. Web Windows has a successful formula that we shall use in future to promote our other sites.'

MBT Customs

'We decided to test out Web Windows as an advertising medium to gain publicity for our website and ultimately to generate more sales. Following the exposure of our advert to 1.7 million readers in The Sunday Telegraph Magazine we were delighted by the response that it produced. During the week the advert appeared the results were superb. Apart from the increased number of hits made to the website sales generated were much appreciated. The amount sold far outweighed the cost of the advertising.
So pleased with the response, we're now looking to advertise with web Windows on a more permanent basis.'

Astral Aspects

'I'm delighted with the service from Web Windows. The design team have perfectly captured the essence of my on-line shop in the ad they produced, while the sales team always keep in touch with last minute special offers. What's more, I see a measurable increase in sales whenever my Web Windows feature appears.'

Bean Machine

'As a first foray with Web Windows we took our time in considering which publication was right for us. We chose to run an initial campaign in The Independent on Sunday Review in order to target a manageable number of wealthy internet users. For what we felt was a relatively prominent ad we were impressed that costs were kept to a minimum. Throughout the period which our ad appeared in the national press, interest in the site was maximised and hits were increased. We are more than happy with the increased sales and definitely plan to appear again in Web Windows proven publications.'

www.beanmachine.co.uk

Software Galaxy

'Web Windows approached us with a low cost offer to appear in 3 prestigious publications, spread over a period of time. This meant that our budgets were not overstretched and we could put together a lengthy campaign to reach 6.3 million readers. This was the first time Software Galaxy had appeared in such mass circulating media and we were impressed with the results. Cost will prohibit us from being a full time advertiser but we will ensure that when we can, we will embellish our marketing campaign with some much welcomed exposure from Web Windows.'

Ambush Paintball

'Ambush Paintball tried Web Windows as an experiment to see if there really would be any response from advertising in the national press. We were impressed with the art work which was speedily put together for us by the Art Team at Web Windows. When the advert was published in The Independent on Sunday we noted an increase to hits on our site which we believe has contributed to raised awareness. We intend to stay in touch with Web Windows with a view to further advertising when the time is right.'

Data Browse

'We were searching for a way to improve traffic to the site when we were approached by Web Windows. We considered their offer of reaching a cumulative figure of 3.3 million people over 6 weeks. We were impressed by the results and found traffic to the site was buoyant throughout the period. As a search facility, traffic through the website is vital to us and we are pleased to report that Web Windows helped sustain this. We will be interested to receive more information from Web Windows with a view to booking further series in future.'

Itnerd

'This was my first national advertising campaign and I chose Web Windows as they offered a new, fresh medium to reach a national audience without the over inflated prices. Since the first ad appeared in July 2004, I have seen a growing interest in the itnerd.com web site and will defiantly consider Web Windows again when planning my next national campaign.'

Telephones Online

'I am happy to place on record that the response to our Web Windows advertising led to increased enquiries, which converted into a substantial number of sales for Telephones Online. An email from Web Windows had been forwarded to us by a fellow website owner. After various discussions we chose Radio Times as being best for our market as far as reader profile and coverage was concerned. The overall success of our campaign has led to an ongoing relationship with Web Windows that will certainly result in further appearances in their publications.'

Holdsworth Chocolates

'Holdsworth Chocolates ran a series of ads in Web Windows for The Independent on Sunday and received an excellent response resulting in a substantial amount of orders and online enquiries. This form of advertising has allowed us to reach an audience, which may not have considered using a search engine to find us. We appreciated Web Windows honest and professional service and we look forward to a continued warm relationship.'

Versalift

'Web Windows was instrumental to us in being exposed to potential new customers. Through marketing ourselves through Web Windows we have been able to attract genuine new clients that we would not have been able to reach through more traditional online activity.'

www.versalift.co.uk

Digital Cameras

'We have now run a series of adverts on two separate occasions and have found a very noticeable increase in online sales during and after each campaign. Coupled with this there was also an increase in our average basket value so there is no doubt that we will be using this format to reach a large, well targeted audience in the future.'

www.digital-cameras.com

Passion8.com

'We have had a continued advertising relationship with Web Windows for over a year, advertising mostly in the Observer and the Independent with our website Passion8.com. Throughout this time we have advertised frequently and have enjoyed a great response the advertisements have generated for us. On a cost ratio we could not advertise in these publications for the same cost as Web Windows and a relatively small ad would simply be lost in a section, whereas in the Web Windows section it has a higher profile and targets online users directly. We have had a lot of advertising experience in a variety of publications and I am happy to say that Web Windows has been one of the top performers. We have found Web Windows service to be professional and the advertising they provide to be very beneficial in boosting our exposure, increasing our traffic and improving on-line sales. We shall certainly be doing more business in the future.'

www.passion8.com

Union Jack Supplies

'Union Jack Supplies.co.uk ran a tactical Web Windows campaign across Radio Times and The Observer. Our objective was quite simple; to shift as much product online at a strategically important merchandising period for us. Web Windows gave us carefully reasoned media advice and through their design team some very strong creative for use in our advertisement. The campaign was a great success and gave a positive return on investment. There is no doubt we will be using Web Windows again in the future.'

www.unionjacksupplies.co.uk

Internet Cameras Direct

'We tested The Sunday Telegraph Magazine's Web Windows in September and found the traffic to Internet Cameras Direct increased by 25%. Furthermore, unlike other magazines where we have advertised, the increased traffic was sustained for quite some time afterwards. We are now regularly using their excellent pages.'

Nice Surprises

'The advice Web Windows gave concerning how to market our website in magazines was invaluable. Nice Surprises tested initially with a three-series in just one Sunday supplement to gauge the response. We found that with each insertion the amount of orders generated increased each time. For our second phase we are now introducing another magazine, knowing that the Web Windows concept has had a marked effect on sales. We are looking forward to a continued relationship with Web Windows.'

Shoe Net

'This was the first time we chose to advertise our website offline and the efficiency with which the artwork was created was very impressive. During the time that our ad series appeared, this was the only advertising ShoeNet ran. We can therefore attribute the doubling of hits on our website to our activity with Web Windows in The Mail on Sunday's Night & Day. We look forward to advertising in their publications in the future.'

Doggie Fashions

'Doggie Fashions has found Web Windows to be a very successful way of advertising our unique web site of pet fashions and will definitely continue to use this service.'

Ethnic Warehouse

'We made enquiries about advertising in Web Windows having seen their pages appearing in a number of Sunday supplements. After careful consideration, we felt that The Observer served our market best and ran a series of three ads promoting Grandad-shirts.com. We have enjoyed a very good response from our advertising and with every order taken we have asked how people have come across our site. With most orders over the last few weeks, the replied has generally been as a result of seeing our Web Windows ad. The artwork and overall service Web Windows has provided us with has been nothing but professional and are happy to recommend their services to other specialist websites. We look forward to doing business with them again.'

Welsh Gold

'Web Windows has provided Welsh Gold PLC with an excellent opportunity to promote our pure Welsh gold jewellery in mass circulating media. We chose to use a double-sized advert and found response was very positive throughout the time that our advert appeared in the national press. Web Windows will certainly be an option that Welshgoldplc.co.uk will be looking to use again.'

Advantage For Travel

'We have been advertising with Web Windows for many years and would like to place on record how pleased we have been with the increased response to our website, achieving a massive 300% increase in hits to our site in August that year. Web Windows is also proving to be a very cost effective medium for raising our brand awareness with the consumer, and in driving enquiries through to our agents in the high street. It remains our main advertising medium and I look forward to any future developments and a long-lasting relationship.'

Nylon Dreams

'Nylon Dreams.co.uk were emailed by Web Windows with idea of running a colour ad in the Sunday supplements. As we do not have limitless budgets we considered very carefully the magazines in their portfolio and decided to test market in The Observer. To date we have been more than happy with the response we have enjoyed. Hit rates increased quite considerably but more importantly, we shifted a decent amount of stock. We are now planning our next tranche of advertising and Web Windows will be featuring again.'

Unicycle.com

'The inclusion of Web Windows has proven a useful enhancement to our promotional activities. This has been our first foray into mass circulating weekly publications and we found the professionalism and expertise that Web Windows has provided to be first rate. We operate in a specialist and competitive market and this form of advertising has enabled us to reach large numbers of home internet shoppers. We closely monitor the effectiveness of all our advertising in terms of hit rate and products sold and we look forward to dealing with Web Windows again in the future.'

John Alan Designs

'We planned a campaign to run just prior, then just after Christmas in The Sunday Times Magazine and after the noticeable surge in hits, we have now rebooked a selection of dates over the next 12 months. At John Alan Designs, we understand that the bespoke nature of our products does not predispose itself to impulse buying, but careful selection from a relatively small number of people and as such we really appreciate the flexibility that one can take advantage of through Web Windows. We can now pick the best 8 insertion dates for us in The Sunday Times Magazine secure in the knowledge that when the advert appears we know the a substantial surge of people will be heading towards our website – a new customer base that we didn't have access to previously.'

John Myatt Woodwind & Brass

'We realised that building awareness of our website, in a market where there are so many similar sites offering products and services that we also stock, was of paramount importance. Myatt.co.uk therefore decided to use Web Windows to raise our profile, by cashing in on the reputations of The Telegraph, The Observer and The Independent Magazines, we would benefit from the inferred recommendation of the titles as well as cashing in on the resulting sales from the thousands of readers that we reached. We certainly see our relationship with Web Windows as a long running one and are glad of the flexibility that the availability of the different magazines allow’
