It has been a bit of a crazy week. We’re coming to the end of our second week of lockdown, and I’ve found it more manageable than expected. I’m finally able to make use of my home office space! I thought that I’d write a couple of sentences a week about how I’m getting on working from home.
I’ve done a wide range of tasks this week. On Monday I was finishing off the final touches to a white paper for a travel client, alongside other content writing jobs. It’s been interesting (and sometimes difficult) to see how the virus is affecting businesses from different industries. Many of our clients have adapted well to the changing circumstances, asking us to change their content in line with what is happening with the world.
We’ve seen clients create videos updating their customers on the current situation, which is a great way to connect with your audience and increase engagement. The social media team has started planning client content for May which I always enjoy. I like looking at the analytics from the previous month to see what has performed well and what we should post more of. One thing that I will always encourage clients to consider is creating videos – they perform really well compared to other posts.
