Bull Agri is an online retailer of Agricultural & Garden Machinery as well as spare parts and accessories. The company is based in Bourne near Peterborough and is a spin-off of a larger farm machinery manufacturer.
Bull Agri was set up in 2020 by Chris Bull and sells over 7000 products from Lawnmowers to Hydraulic parts, Chainsaws & Toy Tractors. Chris prides himself on being a one stop shop for all your gardening or agriculture needs. They are always looking to extend their product range to ensure they are the go-to site for all requirements in this sector.
We first met with Chris during the summer of 2020. He has made a fantastic start of getting the website populated with products but what stuck on the design element.
Web Windows considers itself to be at the forefront of Web Design in Peterborough and we were well up for the challenge. The idea was to not just to create something that looked good but also something that was functional and had good user experience as well as the ability to create an account for returning customers.
The site is mainly aimed at farmers – they are time poor and sometimes (without being too stereotypical) not the best on a computer. Therefore a simple, functional site with a nice but not too over the top design was the order of the day.
In approximately 6 weeks, we helped create an e-commerce WordPress site with fantastic integration, account login and a number of payment solutions.
To build the shop, we used woo commerce and linked to stripe as well as paypal and apple pay to provide users with the easiest possible checkout solution.
The site has multiple menus for easy navigation as well as some nice plugins within the backend to give the site owner great visibility on who is purchasing and allowing them to give repeat sales through reminder emails
The website was built and launched on WordPress, it’s clear, mobile-first, easy to navigate, fully responsive and looks fantastic on all devices.
It won’t be fully operational until the middle of 2021 as the site owner is putting it through some rigorous testing and ensuring that he is able to meet the demand he has in his physical premises.
Once the site is launched and traffic is being pointed towards the site we will take another look at functionality and navigation. This will enable use to improve product layouts to optimise conversions. The site was build using Elementor so pages and products will be easily updated by either Web Windows or the site owner.
