The Brief.

SM Cricket came to us for a completely new web design with ongoing website development and maintenance. We worked extensively with the team at SM Cricket in Peterborough to understand their goals, their audience and, their brand.

Launched on WordPress, the website now features a custom-built e-commerce solution which allows SM Cricket’s users to purchase from their online catalogue. Web Windows created custom page template designs that were dynamic to allow for updated pricing, stock and product variations.

It’s fully responsive and looks fantastic on all devices.

The Solution

Being a supplier of Cricket equipment made it easy for us to create a social media plan for the feeds they wanted running, as there were many different photo and video opportunities to help gain lots of engagement for each post and page.

The vital statistic for any business is increasing their sales through their website. Our team thought of a variety of ideas to help achieve this goal for the client, with the social media and other weekly content being high on the list.

SM is a well-known brand in the Cricket industry and supply equipment to stars such as England Women’s captain Heather Knight and other top international players. We aimed to contact fellow influencers from the sport to garner their interest in their products.

The Results.

The first month we achieved 66.8k impressions on Twitter, and have been able to keep the number of impressions above 40k a month since. This shows that our content is getting out on a large scale, and the engagement stats were also healthy too.

Following this, the SM Instagram account received over 6,800 impressions within the first two weeks of our posts. This daily content resonated with the followers already with the page, and it has since grown to over 1,700 followers, up by nearly 1,000 since we took over.

Showing that our content was not just striking visually but engaging for anyone viewing, the engagement went up by 126% on Instagram with some posts hitting over 300 likes within days of being uploaded.
